Why Login with VT.EDU?
Virginia Tech has an agreement with Microsoft that protects your personal information and intellectual property rights.
  1. Save the Recommendation Report as a PDF so that you can upload it to Copilot or the AI tool of your choice.
  2. Open Copilot in your web browser and log into the tool using your VT.EDU username and password.
  3. Open the Copilot Prompt to Check Your Group Recommendation Report.
  4. Copy the prompt from the Copilot Prompt to Check Your Group Recommendation Report and paste it into the question area on Copilot.
  5. Click the Upload button in the Copilot question area, and upload the PDF draft of your Group Recommendation Report.
  6. Click the Send button in Copilot and wait for the response. Here are two example responses to another student’s project: Example 1 is well-written, and Example 2 has significant errors.
  7. Click the Export button and save your response as a PDF so that you can provide it later if I need it.
  8. Answer the remaining Recommendation Self-Check questions to indicate whether Copilot confirmed that you met the criteria for this project.
