Document showing five items checked off on a listWhat I Want You to Do

Assess your User Documentation Revision and Reflection Memo by completing one of the two self-check options. Both list the User Documentation Revision and Reflection Memo Criteria. If you have trouble deciding which option to choose, the Self-Check Options Explained page can help.

You can complete the checklist as many times as you like to see how your work compares to the expectations for the project.

Why I Want You to Do It

In the workplace, you should be able to compare your work against a list of specifications to determine if your project is complete. This self-check works in just that way: You should be able to confirm every one of the project criteria in the checklist before you consider the project complete.

How You Do It

Preparing for the AI Self-Check

  1. Review the User Documentation Revision & Reflection Memo Criteria, which outlines the requirements for the assignment.
  2. Because this project has two different parts, divide your submission into two different files (one with the revised user documentation and the other with your reflection memo).
  3. Save these two files as PDFs so that you can upload them to Copilot or the AI tool of your choice.
  4. Why Login with VT.EDU? Virginia Tech has an agreement with Microsoft that protects your personal information and intellectual property rights.
  5. Open Copilot in your web browser and log into the tool using your VT.EDU username and password.

  5. Click the Export button and save your response as a PDF.

Answering the Self-Check Questions

  1. Answer the remaining quiz questions to indicate whether Copilot confirmed that you met the criteria for this project.
  2. Submit your checklist responses and check your point total for the activity:
    • If the checklist is marked 1 point for your Self-Check responses, you completed the activity successfully and are ready to submit your final version to the User Documentation Revision and Reflection Memo Assignment.
    • If the checklist is marked less than 1 full point, revise your project to meet the criteria that you marked “False.” You should be able to confirm all the criteria before you submit your project.
