The Task

What I Want You to Do

This discussion is all about sharing your opinion. Add a reply that tells me what you would do to improve the feedback discussions. Review the answers shared by others in your group and add a like to suggestions you agree with. Add a comment if you want to build on someone else’s idea or to express an alternate idea about the suggestion.

Why I Want You to Do It

The Feedback Discussions are important because they model the conversations that you will have in the workplace with your colleagues as you work on technical documents. Unfortunately, I don’t think you’re finding them valuable (I’ll explain why in a footnote at the end of these instructions). I want the feedback system to work better, so I am asking you what I can do. Since you’re the ones using the system, you are the best folks to suggest improvements.

How You Do It

1. Click the Reply button below to make a space for your response.
2. Write a message that answers this question: What One Thing Would You Do (or Change) to Improve Feedback Discussions?
   • Tell me both what to do (or change) and why it will improved the Discussions. I need to understand why you are making the suggestion and how it will help.
   • Include a specific suggestion. Rather than saying, “Make the discussion more fun,” tell me something specific that I can do to make it more fun.
3. Read over your message to make sure it’s clear, and make any changes you need to make sure everyone will understand your message.
4. Post your reply.
5. Review the answers shared by others in your group and respond to help me evaluate the suggestions:
   • Add a Like to suggestions you agree with.
   • Add a comment if you want to build on someone else’s idea or to express an alternate idea about the suggestion.
6. If another suggestion comes to you, reply again. You are not limited to one idea.

Obtaining the Points for Your Work

You track and grade your own work in this course. Be sure to complete the following tasks:
