Make your document more inviting by paying attention to the lengths of your paragraphs. Readers prefer shorter, easy to digest chunks of text over long blocks (or what I call “a wall of text”).

Think about a website that you find easy to read. Chances are that it has short, readable bits of text rather than a single, giant block. When readers encounter a giant wall of text, they immediately look for shortcuts (or skip the text altogether!).
