Before you produce your own research poster, practice evaluating real ones—just to see what works and what doesn't work. Below you will find three pairs of posters. There's no surprise: In each pair, there is a good poster and a bad one.

  1. Take a look at the three pairs of posters, and select one of those pairs to analyze.
  2. In your comment, do the following:
    1. Identify which of the two posters is better and which is worse.
    2. Explain briefly why you made that decision, telling readers what works and what doesn't work in each poster. Basically, explain which poster you would stop to look at and why—as well as which one you’d pass by and why.
