Welcome to Week Nine of the course. This is our final week to work on the group Proposal. By the end of the week, your group should have finished drafting and revising the assignment.
Next week, your group will work directly on the Recommendation Report itself by conducting the research you’ll need to support your recommendations.

- Navaratri, a Hindu festival, honors the goddess Durga. The event lasts from October 15 to 23.
- Twin Holy Birthdays is a celebration of the Bahá’í faith, marking the birth of the Báb on October 16 and the birth of Bahá’u'lláh on October 17.
- Nanomonestotse, a holiday celebrated by some Native Americans, is an autumn day of peace. It takes place on October 20.
- Breast Cancer Awareness Month lasts the entire month of October.

- Practice workplace genres associated with a team-based research project: a research proposal, meeting minutes, a progress report, a recommendation report or an informational report for non-expert readers, a slide deck presentation of the report, and a video presentation. [CLO 3]
- Practice team and collaborative work in all phases of project management. [CLO 4]
- Design strategies for evaluating the overall effectiveness of the suggested approaches to the researched problem. [CLO 5]
- Illustrate the ethical and human implications of the solutions proposed for solving the problem. [CLO 6]

- Grace Period:
- Ends at 11:59 PM on Wednesday, October 25 for your Try-Its and the Check-in Survey.
- Your group will set the end of the grace period for submitting the remaining work this week. All work must be submitted by 11:59 PM on Friday, December 1, 2023.
