Welcome to Week Nine of the course. This is our final week to work on the group Proposal. By the end of the week, your group should have finished drafting and revising the assignment.
Next week, your group will work directly on the Recommendation Report itself by conducting the research you’ll need to support your recommendations.
Holidays & Events This Week
- The International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade is Tuesday, March 25.
- Laylat al Qadr, or the Night of Power, takes place the night of Wednesday, March 26. This Islamic holiday marks the Quran was sent from heaven down to earth.
- Women’s History Month continues through the entire month of March.
- Ramadan, an Islamic holiday, continues through sunset on Sunday, March 30.
- Eid al-Fitr is the day Muslims break the 40-day fast of Ramadan. It begins at sundown on Sunday, March 30 and lasts 24 hours.

Objectives for this Module
After completing this week’s activities, you address the following course objectives:
- Identify and define a problem or subject related to your particular field (or another specific problem according to your assignment’s directions) and assemble and analyze research related to this problem. [CLO 1]

- Design strategies for evaluating the overall effectiveness of the suggested approaches to the researched problem. [CLO 5]
