You are probably GenZ (those born after 1996), rather than Millenials (those born 1980–1995); but my hunch is that your experiences will still relate to the information in the infographic.
Read through the information below (or view the full-size version on the QU-Charlotte website), and think about how the details compare to your experience in the workplace (or to what you know about writing in your field). Choose one particular idea from the infographic and write a follow-up about your experience, including the following:
- Identify your field.
- Tell us what detail from the infographic you connected with.
- Explain how your experience or knowledge relates to the information from the infographic.
- (Optional) Share any observations you have about age differences and communication in the workplace that aren’t included in the infographic.
Once you post your follow-up, skim through the responses that others have posted and add any comments about what you notice.
