For this first Discussion with your Project Group, introduce yourself and get to know one another by writing a short professional biography (bio). You’ll be collaborating for the rest of the term so knowing one another is important!

You will collaborate on three Major Projects as well as many Weekly Activities in this course. Connecting with your group is crucial to doing well on these projects.

Instructions
You can use Copilot on your bio. This is a low-stakes task, so I think it’s fine to test out AI on it. Additional instructions provide more details and the prompt you can use.
- Click the Reply button at the bottom of the instructions. You may need to scroll down to find the button.
- Add your Professional Bio as your first reply. Be sure to read the Professional Bio Tips to ensure you meet the expectations.
- Connect with other group members by replying to their posts for additional posts.
Expectations
There are four requirements for this activity in Canvas (numbered in the list below):
- A reply (1) that includes the following:
- A Professional Bio (2) that meets the expectations listed in the Professional Bio Tips.
- Contact information (3) at the end of your reply.
- An additional reply (4) to at least one other group member.
Assessment
I’ll mark your participation in this Discussion Complete (or Incomplete) after I confirm that you met the four expectations listed above. Allow me several days to read and mark all your posts.
If you earn an Incomplete and the grace period has not ended, you can revise and resubmit.
